There are indeed legitimate concerns from both sides of the gun debate. Consider this: A mother often leaves her twin, a boy and a girl at the kindergarten. She, like every caring mother, someday hopes her children will grow up to become responsible adults that she will look back at with much gratitude. Especially, on her decision to keep the pregnancy after she was brutally raped by armed gunmen. She refused to go to Planned Parenthood for an abortion at the request of her parents and is now a single mother who does her best to cater for her lovely children.
One day, she hears breaking news on the radio about a shooting incident at a kindergarten. She receives an emergency call that her son is a victim of this kindergarten-shooting spree by an unstable young man. Her daughter is unharmed but she saw her twin brother killed before her.
Personally, I believe that people kill people but guns make it easier. I also think that there can be a way to make it less easy and more difficult for people to have access to tools and technology to kill other people such as this woman’s son at the kindergarten.
As an honest human being, how will you react if you were this woman?
